Dieu Donne Restaurant Franschhoek

New body copyDieu Donné is nestled in the vineyards just off Franschhoek’s main road and offers patrons a view of the Franschhoek Valley from its setting in a natural amphitheatre. The cellar–styled restaurant provides panoramic views and seats 120 guests, while the ground terrace with its provincial lunch menu offers 100 patrons an al fresco dining experience. Dieu Donné offers an exciting menu of French Huguenot provincial fare with a unique combination of Mauritian, Asian and African influences.

The restaurant is also the first in the Cape Winelands to establish a micro–brewery to compliment Dieu Donné’s wines. Their beer is brewed by the estate’s own award–winning wine–maker using a natural underground water source. Their Caesar stone bar boasting with floating shelves is currently the only place where patrons can enjoy the estate’s Stout, Ale and Pilsner beers. An innovative cocktail menu is also available to be enjoyed while savouring the sunset over the Drakenstein Mountains.
