In His word

Living Ball's vision is to proclaim the Gospel of Jesus Christ, all over the world, using rugby–, soccer– and netballs

as a tool – where each ball becomes a symbol of hope. Our aim is to form partnerships with companies and individuals who understand what Jesus meant when He said: "Go into all the world and preach the Good News to all creation". We visit companies, schools, churches and sport days with an inspirational message that "Jesus is Alive".

The four vivid colours represent the four verses of the message that Jesus is Alive on this "living ball" which is the earth. We are emphasizing that there is a battle for one’s heart between darkness and the Light. The dark colour represents the sin and darkness in your heart before you knew Jesus, the colour red represents the blood of Jesus who died for our sins on the cross, the light colour represents that we are cleansed by Jesus, and that our decisions are now based on what the Holy Spirit tells us to do, and the green colour represents growth – spiritual growth. The green colour reminds us to grow closer to Jesus by means of prayer, going to church, reading our Bibles and very important – to tell other people that Jesus is Alive!

Manie du Toit, an ex–professional sportsman, got the vision from God in 2002 to start spreading the Gospel

through the medium of sport balls. Each ball becomes the symbol of hope that Jesus is Alive!
